If you ordered your Falcon kit after October 2019, you have received the Version 2 kit.  The easiest way to tell which kit version you have is by looking at your remote control: if it is red, you have a Version 1 kit.  If your remote is white, you have a Version 2 kit.

Anyone with a Version 1 kit can purchase a Version 2 upgrade kit on our website.

Anyone with a Version 2 kit can add a second laser cannon and/or the motorized boarding ramp accessory.

Because there is a large amount of open space inside the LEGO set even after it is fully built, you don't need to wait to build your Falcon.  Installing our light and sound kit after your Falcon has been fully built is easy to do.  Some disassembly is needed to mount some of the kit parts, but in general this means removing the Falcon's top panels.  For parts like the passageways between sections and the edge lights, you will need to do more disassembly, but thanks to the modular nature of the LEGO set, disassembly is minor and you can get your Falcon back together quickly.

No, this is why we provide genuine LEGO parts with our kit.  Any parts that need to be modified have already been modified by us during manufacturing, so all you need to do it swap your original kit parts for the ones we provide in our kit.  This also allows you to keep the original parts from your set in case you decide to sell your Falcon in the future.

Because of the number of lights in our kit, and also because of the power consumption of the two sound modules, two separate power supplies are needed.  One powers the lights and the other primarily powers the sound modules.  This allows us to make sound that is really LOUD, which makes the kit even more awesome.

Our USB cables work with most USB battery banks, or with any iPhone/iPad type charger that plugs into the wall.  If you have two spare adapters of this type, you can use them to connect to the USB cables and power your kit.  If you do not have two spare iPhone/iPad type chargers, you can buy any two standard mains USB adapters for your country's plug type and voltage, as long as they have a standard USB output connector and as long as each provides at least one amp (1A) of power.  We also sell our own mains adapters, though these have a US-style plug.  Our adapters will work with any global voltage, so if you live outside the US, you would just need to buy two plug converters to adapt the US plug style to your country's plug style.

Our USB cables have our custom power connector on one end, so this is the only way to connect a USB output to our lighting system.

After LEGO discontinued their rechargeable battery box in 2019, most customers preferred the USB version of the kit.  You can still power your Falcon using LEGO Power Functions by purchasing two of our Power Functions Power Supplies separately.

To date we have fulfilled hundreds of orders for customers around the world.  We make kits in batches, usually one batch per month.  If you see an updated delivery date on the website, that does not mean we're missing deadlines and pushing back the delivery dates for everyone who has ordered.  It just means that we're opening a new batch of pre-orders that will ship beginning on a specific date for that batch.  When you place your pre-order, you are in that "batch" and we will begin shipping kits in your batch in the timeframe specified. 

Eventually we may offer individual components from the kit for sale individually, but it takes all of our work just to keep up with pre-orders.  Until we are able to produce enough kits to satisfy the pre-order demand, we will only be selling the SKUs that are listed on this website.

At some point in the future, we are considering creating a kit for the 2007 UCS Millennium Falcon, with the hope of re-creating as many of the functions from this kit as possible.  Please send us an e-mail through our Contact page and let us know you are interested in being added to the mailing list for this potential future product.
